Servolution Blitz repairs Springtown home

A local construction company is giving back to the community by helping restore a home as part of a volunteer effort through Servolution Network’s Good Neighbors Spring Blitz in April.

The Blitz initiative brings together volunteers and organizations to provide free home repairs and services to residents in need.

Jason Day, owner of ProCraft Construction, said his team stepped in to repair the roof of a Springtown resident after being invited to participate in Servolution’s community outreach efforts.

This is the second roof this year Day and his company have donated.

“They asked me to be a part of it back in the fall,” Day said. “We donated a roof back then in Azle and since then, Servolution has asked us to help out again and so we’re here in Springtown doing a roof for these homeowners.”

For Day, the effort is more than just putting on a new roof.

“We have been so blessed by God,” Day said. “We just feel it’s only right that we help and bless others with what we’ve been blessed with.”

Day encouraged others to find their own way to give back.

“Do whatever God puts on your heart,” he said.
